Is the University of Massachusetts – Lowell continuing education online BA degree accredited regionally? Good?
I might be interested in it, but I don’t want one of those bogus "degree mill" degrees. I’m already in college at a four year school, but online is convenient for me. UML looked good, but I’m unsure if this degree is for real, and if employers would be able to tell if it is an "online degree". By the way the degree is for I.T. and it is listed as a bachelors degree on their site. thx.
UMass-Lowell is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, which is a recognized regional accrediting body. All their programs, including online programs, are accredited by the regional accrediting body.

All of the University’s of Massachusetts are real. They have several campuses. Beside Lowell, there is Boston one in Amherst and a medical school in Worcester. There are several more campuses in the commonwealth.
Bill Cosby went to Amherst and I had a liver transplant at the UMass Memorial Hospital Center and that was 4 years ago. I had a tumor with cancer in it.
So, I think your diploma would from UMass Lowell would be recognized as having come from a good school.
